Addiction is the neurotic activity, and devastating involvement with a specific activity. It can be a psychological reliance or physical. We all know the physical ones such as alcohol and prohibited drugs. We deal with physical dependence, tolerance, as well as withdrawal. We are all familiar with the so called cures, like for instance abstinence, psychological counseling or even rehabilitations. Now, does sexual addiction fit these definitions? Obviously the answer is no, however, the media has now coined the term of “sexual addiction.” Inpatient disease “SEXUAL ADDICTION” is just not justifiable.
This is a make believe term, used to pretext celebrities, and permit them to seek out a facade facility, and then lessee their celebrated status, now cured. Then they can go back to their wives. Because if the greedy appetite of sexual promiscuity was in the form of a woman, she would be a nymphomaniac, and would not have to go to a rehab, but would in fact be sought after by men, typically married men who only wished their wives would be so horny. Interestingly enough, a single non married man in the same way never has to go to rehab or is tarnished with the phony term of sex addict. Rather they are the envy of all. This word of sexual addict seems to cover merely married men who need rehab for their wives. Forthrightly it’s a feminist term of art intended to protect the holiness of marriage, because it seems that it’s not an addiction if are not married your just a very fluky horny bachelor. The sexual addiction is just a conspiracy for religious ethnicity and marriage. There is nothing wrong with this term if you are doing this with your significant partner, and if you are not harming anyone. It is just a matter of doing the right thing, in the right place and most importantly with the right person. If you’re lined with sex addict, make certain that you’re doing it with your wife.
The difference of understanding this word addiction is self immoderation versus self disparaging; immoderation without obliteration is not addiction.
